Recent Cyber Attack & Lessons Learned
On June 18, 2020 OKIE811’s email services were compromised by a group of threat detectors coming in from various IP addresses across the country. The threat detectors (aka hackers) sent out over 2,000 emails from OKIE811.org email requesting a response to an RFP from the recipients. There were multiple moving pieces that occurred in the matter of 45 minutes. We want to share what we learned, the services we put in place following the attack, and demonstrate how you can better protect yourself and your organization from a similar type of attack… especially in a era when cyber-attacks are increasing.
Come hear about the outcomes and lessons learned from a Cyber Attack that took place in June 2020. Hear what the cyber analysts recommended be done to prevent future attacks. Understand what you can do today to mitigate the risk of a similar attack in your organization.
