  1. Palm Springs Aerial Tramway
    Aboard the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the World’s largest rotating tramcar, you will experience a breathtaking journey up the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon. Begin the ten-minute ride at the Valley Station, elevation 2,643 feet, and end at the Mountain Station, elevation 8,516 feet. No matter what the season, whether you are enjoying spectacular views or hiking in a pristine wilderness, a one-of-a-kind experience can be had by all.
  2. The Living Desert
    A unique zoo and botanical garden that specializes in the deserts of the world. Giraffes, mountain lions, zebras, and cheetahs are just a few of the incredible animals that take you from Africa to North America. The botanical gardens include geographic replicas of areas as diverse as Baja California’s Viscaino Desert and the exotic deserts of Madagascar.     The Palm Springs Air Museum is home to one of the world’s largest collections of flyable WWII aircraft and from Korea and Vietnam; and unlike many other museums, our air-conditioned hangars have no ropes to keep you from interacting with our exhibits. In addition to our aircraft, exhibits and activities allow visitors of all ages to gain a fresh perspective of World War II — the unparalleled event that shaped the world we live in. Children of all ages are entranced by the big planes and entertained with related activities, from our kid-sized control tower to flying our simulators.
  2. Palm Springs Art Museum
    The Palm Springs Art Museum has two locations: Both locations offer compelling temporary exhibitions that change throughout the year and are supplemented by the museum’s vast permanent collection that includes works from Chagall, Warhol, Lichtenstein, Moore, Frankenthaller, Kapoor, Judd, Morris, Adams, and Rauschenberg. Both locations are open free every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the Palm Springs location is free every second Sunday of each month.

    Desert Tasty Tours is a three-hour, guided culinary and cultural stroll that combines enticing food tastings with historical, architectural and unique insights from a local guide. Tours are offered along Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs and Palm Desert’s El Paseo, Tuesdays – Saturdays, September through May, starting at 11 a.m. The tour accommodates up to 14 people and includes tastings at six or seven different restaurants/specialty shops.
